I ordered three of these for my family and we ALL love them. They ARE machine wash safe as my tag says "machine wash cold gentle cycle, tumble dry low". My daughter did wash hers and it held up just fine. I definitely recommend these especially for the price.

The duvet stays in place better on my down comforter than most...no shifting about in the night. 2nd chance, I would have purchased a king size instead of a queen, since the duvet barely meets the sides of my mattress...I prefer a bit more over hang. Very soft, and just heavy enough for chilly winter nights. Great value for the price.
