 Quite good October 23, 2008
I am quite picky with pillows and find this one quite good for my sleeping taste. It provides good support when side sleeping and pretty good for back. I need to fluff it every day or it tends to get too hard for my taste, but otherwise find it my current favorite pillow.

Other than it being a down pillow, it was as good as any other cotton/polyester filled pillow in my house. I don't think it is worth the $40-$50 price.
In fact, there seems to be a layer of paper or plastic right between the pillow case/cover and the fill. I think it is there to keep the feathers from poking me on my face, but it takes away a lot of the softness of the down. I felt like I was sleeping on a bag.
It also smells coming out of the box. I am still airing it out.
It does come with another layer of zipped cover, which can be removed for wash.

The Pinzon Pyrenees Down Support Pillow is very comfortable and feels like heaven as your head falls into it. Down pillows are more of a soft/fluffy way to rest your head instead of the standard polyester fiberfill. This pillow offers support but it is not the same density as you would except from a polyester fiberfill pillow. I have always enjoyed pillows I can let my head sink into and hug while I laying on my side or my stomach. I would highly recommend this pillow for the quality and the down fill this pillow contains, you won't be disappointed.
Comfortable & Well Made October 22, 2008
Overall, the Pinzon Pyrenees Down Support Standard pillow is a quality pillow. The 100% cotton cover is attractive, well-made and conveniently washable. I like the fact the pillow is not so squishy, like a lot of other down/feather pillows. Personally, I prefer a firmer support, which is why I only give four stars. Ultimately, I'm confident this pillow will last many years and provide hours of comfort. I believe it is well worth the investment.

I like that this pillow does not flatten out like most down pillows. It does retain a good deal of height throughout the night. It manages to provide support with out a lot of pressure on my face. With other feather pillows I've had to shake and puff them up to get lift that only deflated shortly after putting my head on it. This pillow not only stays full but I also found I could use it as a support behind me while sitting in bed, something every other feather pillow I've owned has failed. I would buy this again.
