After recently adopting a long haired cat, we decided a change was needed in our bedding. I was expecting to pay $100 plus so to find this bargain (for the cat)was fantastic.
Upon arrival the comforter was very flat and had an odd smell as noted in other reviews. I layed it over the office chair and gave it a couple of shakes through the day, and a light mist of fabric freshner. Problems eliminated.
It looks lovely on the bed and is fluffy enough that I want to constantly shake the kitty paw prints out of it. The best part is pulling the cover off along with my sheets and not having the worries of fur velcroed to my comforter! Hubby & myself, but most of all our furry addition are all quite pleased.

This product is great for the price. It's warm and fluffy and cheap. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's very pokey (even with a 600 count duvet cover) - and that's enough to knock 2 stars off for me. Also, don't know if anyone cares but at the time of my purchase (Spring 2007) the shipping cost of the comforter was around $10.00.

Why one star? Well, because this comforter is just poky feathers, not down. Granted, you get what you pay for, but the number of raving reviews for these comforters is puzzling. Have these people never felt the softness and warmth of real down, or do they refuse to believe that they spent $40 on feathers? Anyway, it is what it is. If you want down, you'll probably have to pay for it like I'm now going to. This comforter looked to good too be true and, alas, it was.
