Very Good Quality November 10, 2008 If you want a soft, comfortable sheets, this product is your choice. I have not found any other brand sheet quality better than this one.
Quality, luxurious sheet set perfect for deep mattresses November 5, 2008 I am so pleased with the quality and feel of these sheets. I got them in snow white, which is a beautiful, crisp white. Every seam on the pillowcases, fitted and full sheets were sewn beautifully and were very nicely packaged. They are thick and soft to the touch.
These sheets are incredibly soft and washing them creates no pilling at all - the pillowcases feel great on the face. Best of all, they fit my very deep mattress. I have had a difficult finding deep pocket sheets and these really fit the bill. I would highly recommend these sheets.
SAVE YOUR MONEY - SAME LABEL, SAME RN# & SAME FABRIC AS THE PINZON 190g. VELVETS! November 2, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I recently received a set of Pinzon 190g Velvet Flannels and decided I wanted to try the 200 g. Velvet Flannels to see if they were any more luxurious. I received my 200 g. Velvet Flannels two days ago, washed them and decided to compare them with my new, only once washed, 190 g. flannels. I couldn't tell any difference whatsoever between the two different weights. They looked and felt identical right down to the finish and stitching. So I decided to take a look at the sewn in tags and to no surprise the tags on both weights were identical right down to the manufacturer's RN#'s. The only difference I could find between the two were the prices ($$$$) and the stickers on the outside of the plastic packages.
Perhaps mine were mislabeled? Do yourself a favor if you are considering buying the 200 g. and order both weights and then decide. My bet is you'll keep the 190 g., return the 200 g. and save yourself a whole lot of money, especially if you are like me and like to order extra pillowcases, etc.!
Warm, well made and wonderful October 31, 2008 I was worried that these would be too stiff or thick. Not the case at all. I live in central Florida where it rarely stays cold for more than a week at a time. The problem I have with flannel sheets is that the thick ones always end up being too warm once the weather lifts a little. That hasn't been the case with these so far. I received these just in time for a serious cold snap at the beginning of this week. I washed them right away as there was a slight chemical smell to the sheets that was not unexpected. There was a lot of lint, but this was the first wash so no worries. The sheets did not pill. They are smooth, flat and strangely light although the material appears to be quite thick. These do hold warmth extraordinarily well and they are wonderful to touch and feel against my skin. I think these are of a higher quality than I am used to, which was a pleasant surprise. I don't think I'll need to swap these out when the weather lifts. It was nearly 75f today and while warm, the sheets were not uncomfortable. I think it is because they are so very soft. They also do not have the sort of weave line I have in sheets of lesser quality. The weave in these seems uniform and flat. I have the pillowcases inside a thinner set of cases, and neither has crawled up or bunched with creases. Really top quality stuff. I am thankful to have them!
Pinzon Portuguese flannel sheets offer pure luxury October 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Like a lazy Sunday morning at a Five-star hotel, these 100% Supima Velvet Flannel sheets from Pinzon go the extra mile for comfort and coziness. The first thing I noticed was the absolute softness of these sheets. The second thing is the beautiful color of the snow-white set. The combination of high thread count and superior quality is breathtakingly simple, yet serves up sumptuous and luxurious results.
The quality of their luxury line is obvious to anyone who is used to buying Pinzon standard flannel sheets, and I am an expert because I usually buy 5-10 sets of them at the end of each winter when Amazon puts them on sale.
The care of these sheets couldn't be easier; just wash them in warm water and if needed, us non-chlorine bleach.
The pillowcases are generously sized also. I am overall very thrilled with the look and quality of these 200-gram Supima velvet sheets!
