Just OK. Can't find anything better July 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Second watch to break in 2008. In both cases, one arm that holds watch band broke off. These watches are basically disposable. I like the features (stop watch, countdown, alarms, light). Hard to find inexpensive watch with features listed. Many have lots of features or are gaudy and cost much more. Would love to find something better.
GReat little watch!! July 19, 2008 I bought this watch for my Husband and he is very pleased with it. I have a lighter one for myself and have used it for years. Love it!!
Good watch..Till it stopped working only 3 months later !!! July 11, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Liked the watch and was able to snorkel with it and have no water intrusion. However, only 3 months later it stopped working. I even tried a new battery, but that did not help. Since the watch was never dropped or treated roughly, if you choose to buy this model, you may get a product that will not last very long.
Almost Perfect July 8, 2008 This is a great product. I understand why one of the other reviewers is thinking of picking up a spare. I've had mine for about five years and it's still on the original battery. It's been skiing, cycling, camping, in the ocean and in lakes. Everywhere I wouldn't want to take a fancier watch, in other words. Unlike other digitals where you have to find the instructions every time you want to use one of its features, this has a very simple interface which is the same for each of its modes (time, timer and alarm). What's more it is a ridiculously accurate watch (a couple of seconds per month) and the window is surprisingly scratch resistant. It loses a star for two reasons. First and more worrisome, as one of the other reviewers mentioned, one of the shoulders broke off from the case a couple of years back for no apparent reason. I reattached it with superglue and the repair has held, as well as being almost invisible. Obviously Casio could improve their resin with a few carbon fibres or something. Secondly, when in stopwatch or timer mode I would like to see the top panel of the display retain the current (clock) time, when the elapsed (or remaining) time is under one hour. Looking forward to Casio taking these suggestions on board for an otherwise great product. Oh, and Amazon can drop the price back to $16.55 whenever they like!
face scratches easily, but it's cheap... July 7, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
the face of the watch scratched after only a few days of use. of course, this watch is less than $20, so what do you expect? :-)
