 Decent, but doesn't hold up August 9, 2008
I bought this watch for my wife a couple of years ago. She really liked the watch and wore it running and to the gym all the time. About a year ago, we took a trip to Vietnam where it was extremely hot and humid. The bluish-gray color directly around the face started peeling off to reveal a cheap-looking light gray plastic underneath. It's like it's painted on and doesn't wear well or hold up to humidity. Since then, the paint has continued to peel off and the other day it froze on her (the battery is very new). I was able to reset it by taking the battery out, but I feel bad that my wife has had such problems with a watch I gave her as a present. Retail price on this watch is FAR too much to pay, and I wouldn't pay the price from Amazon either for this level of quality. I always loved Timex watches (I have 4 of them), but it appears their quality control is now lacking as this watch didn't hold up well at all. The "50 Lap Memory" is also almost completely worn off of the band and looks bad. My newest Timex appears to not be painted on the face as I tried to dig into it with my fingernail so look out for these cheap versions.

I'm on my second timex womem's ironman triathalon sleek 50/100 watch and this one already fell apart. The first one completely died even with trying to put a brand new battery after getting caught in the rain while running. I got the same watch, giving it another chance because I really like the design. This time, the watch part just completely fell off of its band. The straps for the watch were not at all well designed and to my disbelief the whole thing just fell apart on me ... and its only been 3 mos. since the new watch! As much as I loved the design, I would highly NOT recommend this watch.

Good Timex watch so far...easy to set times. I use the chronograph, timer and all 3 alarms to keep my life on track. Indiglo light feature is always welcome in dark or low light conditions. Not overly large - fits my smaller wrist nicely.

I wear this watch almost every day, even after my runs to work- it's awfully cute, and my absolute favorite color. Plus, I have all my training runs for the month stored on there, and the alarm is a great feature when I travel. Very easy to use, and doesn't irritate my wrist, even though I have a latex allergy, it doesn't seem to bother me- I believe it's plastic
Great watch for gym & outdoors April 2, 2008
It's very cute and perfect size for my petite body size. Got many compliments right away. It made my workout so much easier with very useful functions & I especially like the interval timers to use for circuit training. It got wet during creek crossings on a hike but it works fine.
The only cons are that the the band gets dirty easily & the buttons are little hard to push down. But I still love the watch.
