I wasn't sure if it was real silk at first, but without being able to do a "burn test" I would say that it is real silk. The silver finishings are nice and it holds up well with wear. All around happy customer and I would buy more for gifts!

I was looking for quite some type for a simple black cord to use to wear a jade pendant I had bought. The price on this cord was very reasonable, and the quality just what I wanted. I've paid more than double for similar cords that ended up falling apart or disappointing in other areas. Fast shipping and quality products will have me ording from them again.

No question--this is a great buy.

I have several pieces that are set to perfection by the luxurious, black cord: silver, gold, stones, and plastics. One piece is a smooth, twisted turquoise sort of plastic that is stunning with the black. Another piece is a black stone surrounded by gold. This piece is mysterious in its creativity and resembles a small vial, which I tell people has a magic potion in it, and looks even more mysterious on the black cord.

Since I am on the short side, I chose the 16" black cord, which also looks good with my red hair.
