I got this as a going away gift when I left for boarding school.
I was 14 at the time, and my Grandmother gave it to me and said "It's time you started smellig like a man ought to." She had sensibility, taste and refinement that was rare in the small town I grew up in. I kept that bottle for years, even after it was empty. I recently bought myself a small bottle of Grey Flannel, and not only does it still smell incredible on me, it is a wonderful reminder of her. It is a true classic cologne. My one and only complaint is that I can never find a bottle with a sprayer on it, so I inevitably end up putting a little too much on ( it's the old fashion type cologne, where you put a little in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together, then put it where ever you want it to be.) I like putting a little in my beard, so I can smell it during the day. I really like Grey Flannel. It is quite masculine , rather heavy at first, but it dries nicely into a subtle smell. Another of the all day colognes, so a bottle will last a while. It is also very easy to find, not terribly expensive, not "samey" like so many colognes are. Thankfully, it's not very popular anymore, so it's very dinstinctive.
