The perfect fashion sneaker December 22, 2008 Ngng This is the perfect sneaker to wear with jeans if you are going out!!!!!! It's really trendy and the quiality is really nice. You are going to love them, especially if you are into the "old looking clothing/accesories" style. The materials are awesome!
Very Compfy & Stylish!! December 17, 2008 J. Leonard (Arizona) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just received these shoes today, and these are my first impressions after wearing them for a day. Out of the box they seem a little stiff, but hopefully they will break in and soften up over time. They are extremely comfortable though, and they fit very true to their size. I wear a size 12, and sometimes I need to go up as high as a 13 or down as low as 11 depending on the shoe, but these fit perfectly in a 12. They are also very stylish and have a nice "worn in" or weathered look to them. The soles are very firm rubber which means they will probably last a long time. There are a few things that I don't like about them. First, they don't have much of a tongue, and this causes the top of the shoe to dig into the front of your ankle as you walk. I'm hoping that they soften up over time which will make this less of an issue. Also, the sole is very firm and it doesn't bend naturally with your foot, so you get more of a firm dress-shoe feeling rather than a more flexible sneaker feeling. Maybe the rubber will soften up over time as well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Overall, I'm very pleased with them so far (after just 1 day of wearing them). I got them in Brown, and they look great with either casual or dressy jeans! Boot-cut jeans will work perfectly with these since they are a little bit longer than the average shoe, but narrow leg jeans might make them look awkwardly long. You can't go wrong for the price ($29 delivered!), because these same shoes would cost you well over $100 in a department store.
Very stylish November 3, 2008 A. Callis (Seattle, WA USA) I purchased these for a trip to Italy. They worked great and the fit was a standard 10 1/2. These are now my go to shoes for everyday
Not bad September 10, 2008 CCC Had these for about a month... lightweight, comfy sole, but the tongue keeps bruising my ankle because it is short!
Not Bad September 27, 2007 JDen (Mojave Desert) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've had this shoe for probably around a year now...and like the first reviewer said, they do appear to give your feet an elongated look because they are a little long-ish, which at first I didn't like. I think it's more exaggerated to yourself than others though because someone actually complimented how they looked. They're not bad, slightly above average sneaker. They appear thin at first and I was wondering if rocks could poke through, but they're actually pretty good, lighter than you'd expect a sneaker to be, but at least as sturdy in the soles, so it's like they almost undervalue themselves because they are so light. They are trendy-ish looking. However, after around a year, the rubber tip at the very front of the shoe has started to fragment on mine...which I don't understand why because I do not use them very roughly. All in all, I'd say they are above average to good (because they feel lighter/thinner than most sneakers but have turned out to be at least as sturdy for me.) The shoebox they come in though - wow...I have never seen such a well made, cool, sturdy thing, it's quite a marvel as far as shoe boxes go. I throw all mine away but I kept this one!
