| Customer Reviews:
new shoes November 23, 2008 the columbia sportswear black slip on shoes were excellent. the leather and design were very attractive and price was hard to believe.
Comfort + Quality + Price = Incredible Value!!! October 14, 2008 I am always a bit hesitant to buy shoes without trying them on, especially if I haven't bought the same style from the same manufacturer previously. That said, the price Amazon offered on these ($32) was so good that I was happy to roll the dice. THEY ARE A GREAT BUY!!! Comfortable, high quality, decent looking, and inexpensive... what more could you ask for? I have worn these with khakis to work and with jeans on the weekend, and they have been terrific in both situations. Highly recommended shoes!
Nice shoes, but.... October 14, 2008 These shoes are nice and look just like the picture. I've only had 2 complaints about them since. The first complaint is that the leather around the back of the opening was mal-formed and so it poked into the back of my leg/foot around my achilles heel. After being forced to wear these for a full day (I was at work before I knew they hurt), I didn't wear them for a week or so. When I tried them on again, it seems that the leather had stretched and been broken in enough that I haven't had a problem with them since then. The other complaint I have is that they do not have the non-marking outsoles. I don't drag or shuffle my feet normally, but yesterday I did notice that I had left one of those black marks on the tile in the hall.
Overall, I'd say these are sharp looking shoes that are fairly comfortable and a good deal for the price.
