 Poor Quality October 10, 2008
I've owned these shoes for 4 weeks, and they look like they are a year old.
The tread on the balls of the feet have worn smooth. The heals are worn down significantly. The arch support is gone, the heals have sunk in. The metal eyelets tore up the shoe laces so I had to replace them.
I'm never buying a pair of Clark shoes again.

I have owed these shoes for about 6 months and I am not a satisfied customer. I love the look of the shoes but the quality is not where it needs to be.
Pros:
Good Looks.
Cons:
The bottom of the shoe is made of a composite material that began to wear down very quickly.
The top metal grommet for the shoe laces is sharp and does not move and this caused the shoe laces to fray and break within a month.
The shoes are not very supportive and the only cushioning is the insert which has come apart over time.
Perhaps the fatal flaw of these shoes is the fact that the bottom is sewn to the top from the bottom of the shoe leaving the bottom exposed to moisture. When it is wet outside water comes up through the bottom of the shoes.

I love clarks shoes, I am a Beliver now that there are shoes so confortable as any pair of tennis shoes, this model is great when you just want to grap your prefered jeans and walk your dog, very well made and confortable.

These shoes look great and feel great on my feet. Very light weight. I had an older pair of Clarks, fell in love with them, bought a duplicate back up pair along with these shoes and one additional pair. (three pairs total) Clarks' by far are the most comfortable shoes I have ever found. I also get plenty of complements regarding the fashion statement these shoe make. Even feel better than my tennis shoes. Clark where have you been all my life?

Bought this pair because I've always thought that the Clarks brand meant both style and quality. But with this pair (which happens to be my first Clarks purchase) it's a trade-off. You get the style but the quality is about Payless level. No arch support whatsoever!! Infact, wearing these feels like walking on a concrete floor that is covered with a thin layer of industrial grade carpeting. I'm returning them.
