Never Huarry in a Huarache... November 23, 2008
I always thought huaraches were sandals with straps and rubber tire bottoms. Most uncomfortable, but cheap. These are my second huarache purchase in my lifetime, and, it seems, the Portuguese know a thing or two about huaraches. These have a very supple leather carcass, and a creamy, velvety leather lining. The insole is non-removable, but sewn in with not too much cushioning. So, I added an additional thin insole and the fit is now perfect for my skinny dogs! I really like the open weave for the air flow, and the light weight of the shoe. Don't yet know how durable the sole will be, but it looks like it will last a long time. So at these good prices, I bought 2 pr. Thx, Amazon!

These shoes from Portugal are fashionable, well made, and comfortable. The bargain pricing made them an especially good purchase.
