My son like his new sandals. They are excellent for taking a shower at school. Also he has never complained about the thong hurting his foot in between the toes.
Great thong sandal July 8, 2008
This thong is made of stiff material that is just great at the beach. The thong does not bend in the wet sand and slip off your foot. The picture doesn't show it, but there are drainage holes in the sole, and the thong drains very well with the holes and channels in the footbed. The thing between the toes is pretty thick, though, even for a guy like me who grew up wearing thong sandals. If your toes are close together, it might be uncomfortable. I like this much better than the regular Kobo sandal - in that model, the stiffness of the material makes it uncomfortable.

I bought these for taking a shower but I wear them around camp also. The little thing between your toes had some small sharp edges, but I filed them down with a nail file.
Good shoes.
