First looking at the flip flop felt good looked good. Well, after wearing the flops, not as comfortable as it felt, the bottom is like hard rubber, least you won't slip and fall. Next thing once you wear them for awhile about a month, you will notice they will stretch out hard to walk up stairs without your foot falling out of the shoe.

The price I paid was a great price, if they would not have been on sale, and had been full price I would have sent them back.

Wow! Now these are comfortable! October 25, 2008
I wear flip-flops (or "slippers," here in Hawai'i) every day, and have done so for years. I've worn several pairs of Island Pro's straight through, along with many pairs of Scott's. I think Island Pro in particular makes a fine product--comfortable, well constructed, and attractive strap designs as well. This particular design, the Costa Cruiser, has two distinguishing features: a beautiful woven strap, and an incredibly soft and comfy midsole. I just bought a pair, and as soon as I put them on, my feet went "Oh, boy--now this is comfort!" I've never worn anything like them before. And it stays like that when I walk around in them--it feels like walking on clouds, and I'm not kidding. BUT--as I said, I just bought them. I'll have to see whether the foam is as durable as it is comfortable, or whether it compresses over time, eliminating the foamy, cushioned sensation.
