Skechers has built a solid reputation for their quality and stylish footware. The Journeyman Ganges Sandal will do nothing to diminish that reputation. They have a great feel and look to be very durable. Quite satisfied with the purchase.

I love this pair of shoes! They fit well everywhere on my foot and they look great. I bought mine in black, size 8. For those of us who care, there are no animal products in them: no leather or suede, even in the upper.
The toe is a very sturdy rubber that doesn't rub on my toes at all. You only have to push down on a button and tug the cord to tighten these, but I find I don't really have to loosen or tighten them much to take them off or put them on. The rubber soles seem very durable too, with a nice tread style. I plan to hike shorter trails in these because they are so comfortable and have grippy soles. I have run in these shoes and notice that they feel much like many sneakers I've had. They also don't actually have open sides like sandals; they just have the visible styling of sandals, which I think was very smart of Skechers. They could actually be worn in places where open shoes like sandals are prohibited because of this.
I can't say enough about these shoes!
