Hands down, this is the most comfortable sandal (or shoe for that matter) I have ever worn. I had my first pair about four years with no unusual wear. My only complaint is that they don't hold up well to an overly enthusiastic boxer/bulldog pup. I will keep a very close eye on my next pair.

This hands down is the best pair of sandals I've ever owned. I've been wearing this style for almost ten years now. The first pair I received from my brother in law -- I thought it crazy to pay this much for sandals but was more than willing to take them off his hands. That pair lasted about 5 years when the sole started to crack. Not too shabby. I bought my next pair that also lasted another 5 years before the cracking developed.
Granted this pair of sandals is $75 yet in terms of longevity you are paying $15/year. This is as much or less than buying a new pair of cheap sandals every year. You know, the ones that don't last the summer before they develop that stink. These sandals had no noticible funk before I chucked them due to wear and tear.
Wearing these are quite comfortable and protect your feet from normal use to even hiking about. The padding/sole provides a lot of cushion that doesn't leave your feet aching after a solid day of wearing.
So here I am at year 10 and I just got my third pair. I am confident this pair will last me another 5 years. I will of course update my review if it does or does not.
