As time has gone on, I've learned that Kenneth Cole shoes can be very hit or miss. I've got one pair that is just fantastic. I picked it up on sale for under $100, it's lasted for more than three years now, and it's likely to go for another 3-5 years. The Passing Note, however, strikes me as cheaply made. The leather is of average to below average quality, and the shape of the shoe, specifically that curl by the toes, is uncomfortable. Also, even though the small holes on the top look stylish in the image, in person it just looks kind of trashy.
