 wide width shoes June 25, 2008
My husband, who is in a nursing home, has always had wide feet and I usually buy an EEE width but when he recently experienced an episode of fluid retention, his regular shoes didn't fit. Do you know how difficult it is to find good quality and size 5E shoes? We have no access to such a thing here so I turned to online sources and found these Propet athletic shoes. The service, quality and satisfation with the product were all A-1. I would definitely order online again and start with accessing my account at Amazon.com.

I have 3 trips planned for the summer, and I walk for exercise while on vacation. My 1st trip was to Las Vegas (early June -nights & mornings were cool), and I was very please and satisfied with the performance of the shoes. They were very comfortable, and cushioned my feet very well.
Great walking shoe June 4, 2008
This is my second pair. The first ones lasted 3 years of near daily use. Only reason they were replaced is the old pair got tore up in an accident. These are very durable and comfortable shoes. Only downside is the velcro closure needs regular cleaning or it will get clogged with debris and not hold (not a fault of the shoes so much as a quality of velcro).

I have arthritis and wear an ankle brace that fits into the shoe. I have trouble tying shoes so I was looking for a shoe with Velcro straps. I found the Propet shoe and ordered them. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. the straps are long enough to accommodates my brace (the brace pushes the shoe out on the side). the shoe is comfortable and easy to close the straps. I now can get on my shoes without someone having to tie them for me. I would recommend this shoe for anyone who wants a good walking shoe that is easy to get on and especially those who have trouble tying shoes.

I bought these shoes for my 92-year-old father. He's still very active, but isn't much for shopping, so we decided to help him make his first on-line purchase. He finds the shoes to be very comfortable and the velcro feature to be interesting and practical. They are also good looking, appropriate for any casual activity.
