Product Description Dr. Marten's is going back to basics with their classic design "1460W" boot, updated with new colors.
Amazon.com Product Description The 1460 boot is Dr. Martens at its best. It's tough enough to take a beating, yet stylish enough to be versatile. The durable sole has unique air-cushioning that's bound to please the most discerning foot. Of course, the iconic yellow stitching is always a bonus.

Fabulous deal! December 20, 2008 My boyfriend asked for these boots as an early Christmas present. I know some people say since they started making boots in China that the quality has gone down...but given that my BF is British...and says they are like ones he has had before...I can say this is not true! He absolutely adores them and finds them to be an incredibly comfortable fit! A great deal for what I paid for them (Under $60 on sale...)
The classic, just right November 19, 2008 I loved the style, and they were more comfortable than other hiking boots I'd bought. The boots are light, though I changed out the laces for a more traditional set of yellow/brown laces, which picked up the stitching in the soles. They fit great with one or two pairs of socks for extra moisture-wicking. The only problem I found was that after a month or so of wear around campus, the middle of the soles started to collect snow, which impacted the treading on snow or ice, and also made it slightly awkward and uncomfortable to walk. Although on dirt, gravel, mud, and concrete paths, the tread never fails. The large pull tab on the back may look a little silly, but it really helps in getting the boots on; and the nice, high top to the cuff really helps when walking through deep snow or just keeping your feet dry and warm. This was my first pair of Dr Marten's but I am thoroughly pleased with the amount of comfort they offer.
stylish, though a little uncomfortable November 16, 2008 The color is sharp and stylish. But it took a lot of pain to break in.
Good solid boots November 9, 2008 Got my first pair of DM 1460 boots, color - Tan Greenland. The appearance of the boots is akin to a pair of distressed jeans, they look like they've been worn for a while. At first the boots were very stiff and hurt my feet, but after two weeks of wearing them every day they have broken in nicely and are very comfortable. I was surprised at how much cushion the sole has. Overall they seem like they will last me for a long time.
Dr. Martens October 20, 2008 I love my new shoes and they where delivered just a few days after I orderd =)
