 COMFY! January 7, 2009
I bought the black slippers to replace my husband's 10 year old navy ones (that are still OK, but look a little ragged). He really likes them when the weather turns cold! He wears an 11 medium shoe. I ordered his Acorns in large and they fit perfectly.
Nice Slipper, be careful on sizing January 4, 2009
I ordered a replacement pair of "Medium" slippers after several years of satisfied service from an older pair of Mens sized M (7 1/2- 8 1/2). Unfortunately, these came as 9-10 and are too big. The Merchant Size Chart offered no guidance here. Now I'm beginning the return process to essentialapparel.com and we'll see how that goes.
Warm comfortable slipper December 17, 2008
I have worn Acorn slippers for years and usually had to settle for size large 12-13 when I bought them in a retail store. I really need a size 14 or extra large but they are so comfortable that I would get them anyway and stretch them out as I wore them because I liked them so much. Not only are they warm and comfortable but the soles are rubberized so you can go outside with them and have really good traction wherever you go. I was really happy to find my larger size on Amazon and at less of a price than what I would have found them for in a retail store. I get years of wear out them so for me they are the best.

This is my fourth pair of Acorn slippers in the last 20 years. They have proven to be comfortable, long wearing and attractive. I recommend them to anyone because they come in children's sizes and some very attractive ones for women.
An Excellent Purchase October 2, 2008
I wear size 13 B narrow shoes. Based on the other reviews I read for this item, I was a bit concerned that these slippers might not fit the way I would like them to, but I decided to take a chance and order them anyway.
I'm so glad I did! They are perfect for the price... and they're not tight or cheaply made at all. What they are is very plush, cozy & comfy! If you're like me, the quality of your life will instantly be improved as a result of owning these warm and way cushy slippers... no kidding!
