Ok for a kid's room - not the guest room. Think Wal-Mart quality. Would not buy again.

This is a great deal on an otherwise fairly expensive quilt. I bought this on clearance, and was excited to receive it. First of all, the colors only faintly resemble the photo. The background is ecru, almost almond in color so there is not much contrast between the rings and the background. There is also a very good deal of blue in the pattern, and from the photo I was hoping for mostly yellows and greens. It has nice colors, they just are not what I was looking for.
Additionally, I think I received an irregular one because Some of the patches lay flat and some don't. Many threads are loose and hanging. The fabric quality is ok, not too soft but probably softens up when washed. Mine is going back due to the irregularity.
If you are loking for a subtle quilt with not much contrast, looks like grandma's house, this is for you.
