I ordered this coverlet to use in between my sheet and down comforter - it was perfect! Not too heavy, but enough to provide some extra warmth. For the price, you really can't beat it! Very nice silky texture. Doesn't seem heavy enough to be used as a comforter (especially if you live in a colder climate), but if you're looking for something lighter to use with a comforter, it's great!

I purchased this coverlet for my bedroom to replace the heavy comforter. It is wonderful. The black is deep in color and gives a clean, dramatic feel to the room. I would recommend this item to my friends.

I wasn't sure when I ordered this that it was what I wanted-but after I got it I was absolutely sure I got the right thing for my decor. It is soft, light weight, looks good, and covers my 15 inch mattress down to the bedskirt. Wish I'd ordered another in a different color!
