very nice coverlet for the price! August 1, 2008
I was very pleased with this coverlet as far as workmenship and quality were concerned. The color I ordered was sage and it is different than pictured, more "minty" than sage, IMO. I decided to keep it anyway because of the great price and quality.

This is a light, sharp-looking bed covering that when coupled with sheets is perfect for summer sleeping. We got ours about 3 weeks ago and have washed it 3x since then (b/f likes everything extremely soft and dryer sheet-smelling)and it's much much softer than when purchased. Makes the whole room look put together when the bed is made..excellent bargain (especially with the sale price we got).. we're very happy with the fine balance between keeping HIM cool and me warm-plus keeping the room filled with clean lines.

I purchased the red queen-sized coverlet, which is a "true" red color, to coordinate with the matching Pinzon Matelasse Euro Shams. I plan to use the coverlet in the summers and then layer it in the winter with a white and red toile duvet set. (Classic red like this can be used during any season, in my opinion, and is very fitting for a bedroom.)

* Very thick and durable fabric; I'm predicting it will last a long time with regular use

I just received my coverlet and I LOVE it!!!! The sage green is gorgeous!! There was another reveiw that complained about the color being too dark, but this color is perfect. It is slighty darker than the picture, but just a TINY bit darker. The picture has more of a mint green color and the blanket is what I consider to be a true sage green. Just a shade darker than mint green. It is exactly what I needed...not too dark and not to light. The quality of the blanket is great too. It is not too heavy, just perfect for the summer. I am so excited about this buy...I have been looking EVERYWHERE for the perfect blanket and now I have it!
