 Beautiful color, okay craftmanship April 15, 2008
I received my shams today and while I am very happy with the color and design, the craftmanship leaves a little to be desired. The threads are already snagged and frayed, which is hardly noticeable unless you look up close, but I'm definitely worried about the shams holding up over time. I will be keeping them, but can't pass along a stellar review.

Pinzon Velvet Standard Sham, Amethyst
Do you know how difficult it is to find purple bedding that is not too grapey, lavender or burgundy in appearance? I searched for a month and was very pleased to find this pillow sham. The color is VERY DEEP purple - so much so that I initially thought I was erroneously sent black shams. They are beautiful! They come out of the package looking like they need a good washing, but hey, I was going to wash them anyway, right?
ps~ Just to be clear, I am saying "them" but only one comes in a package. I ordered two shams.
