love them. cal. king for king bed with pillowtap added August 20, 2008 i have king mattr. with a crate thing, pillowtop on it.everyone kept saying ,i have to get king. californ king wont do. bull, i took chance cause every dang day my sheets fall off, no matter what the material is made of. i saw NO REVIEWS EVER ON THIS TOPIC. i got the calif. king satin ones, these in the not whit, no red, not black, guess they are creaam color. they are beautiful, i hate gold, they are not gold. they are creamish. they stay PERFECTLY FOR THE ENTIRE TIME ON MY BED. my husband hates sheets and untucks them all the time. these he does not . they stay in place perfectly. i love them and the color is beautiful.
Beware of the red sheets! August 19, 2008 I washed these before use (as the insert recommends), with hot water to remove any impurities. I thought this would also reduce any chance of staining as the hot water would make the sheets bleed all the excess coloring, but I was wrong. My socks turned pink during the entire period I kept these sheets on my bed, my pj's also turned pink, as well as the mattress cover. It's worse if you sweat in these because then you'll have a big red circle on the mattress cover in the spot you slept on due to the sweating. I am hoping that the more I use/wash them, the more the excess coloring will be reduced until someday I won't get more stains, although I cannot wash these sheets with my other sheets or they will turn pink, so having to do an entire load of laundry for just 1 pair of sheets is a bit wasteful and unpleasant.

I paid $20 for a set of these black sheets, and I would say it is worth the price!
And trust me, I have had my fair share of experiences with satin sheets. This is my 3rd pair that I've tried out on my bed; and let's just say I am addicted to satin sheets... so sexy, sleek, smooth... why would I want to sleep on something else! Also, if you easily get warm at night or while you lay in bed, I recommend satin sheets (especially some with higher thread counts) to keep your skin & body cool.
At first when I got these sheets, I hated the way it felt to the touch... it felt coarse, cheap, and not silky--rough! But after I washed it, it felt a lot nicer & silky and didn't look as cheap. (I washed it with a cold water wash and Woolite for dark colors, which I highly recommend). Also, the sizing is a good plus. The fitted sheet is not tight when on your bed; the pockets are deep & it has a semi-loose fit. Often times, satin sheets run small especially after you wash & dry them. However, these don't run small so you don't have to order a size up and you can order the same size as your bed.
Overall, it is worth what I paid for. And now looking at it, it looks more expensive than it is. I would recommend this if you are on a budget or hate it when your pillows & blankets slide off your bed (with my other higher thread count satin sheets, my pillows & duvets slide off easily if there's too much movement in my bed but I am used it).
But if you really want to experience luxury & silkiness, I would recommend spending more money & buying satin with a higher thread count!
So comfortable and luxurious... July 21, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought one of these sets in gold. I really like the color. They're very shiny and soft, the look and feel of luxury. I bought the king size for my queen size bed. They are a little big, however I ordered a 2" mattress topper, which will probably be a good feet. Good bedding is worth the investment.
Not too bad July 17, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Paid $25 and not a bad deal, nice a cool for the hot summer. They are slick and the sides tend to come up while we are....ahem...lol ;) no staining at all here (I got black and red) can't complain if they end up a lil cheaper I will buy a few more sets.
