Got one for myself, I love it, too. It DOES shed quite a bit, but it is so awesome, otherwise, that I still would give it 5 stars!

I bought this blanket in red thinking of it for a couch throw, it's BIG! Perfect for my queen size bed but I still love it on the couch. It's oh so soft and cozy, fluffy and luxurious, it reminds me of some throws I saw at Pottery Barn for some outrageous price, now I have one just as soft for a fraction of the price. There are some fuzzies that shed slightly but I think it's because it's new, there is also some slight static , but again I think it's because it is new. Overall 5 stars as I'm sure I'll have years of use on this one.

It's been over a month, since I got it. This blanket is amazing!!! ...'Till you read this, (I learnt it hard way!!!):
Pros: Very, very warm (warmer, than my $200 pure silk blanket!). Extremely comfy, soft, cozy and snuggly - no doubt about that! But, as always, there's another side of a medal!
Cons:
(a) highly static!!! (there's a remedy though - 30 min. in a dryer with several (3-5) fabric softner sheets. Works - guaranteed!)
(b) here comes my BIGGEST disappointmet ... you know what, I'm not gonna elaborate on this issue... I'll let you do it yourself, OK?!
Put a plain WHITE t-shirt on, instead of your regular PJ's! You'll be shocked (literally), how many particles (fibres) of your favorite Pinzon Microtec Blanket will stick on it!!! That's what you breathe in, while sleeping!!!
I'm done with it! Cheap DOES NOT mean GOOD!!!

it left fuzzies and lint ALL over my VERY expensive duvet! I bought 3 of the throws, and did not encounter this problem. I bought the augerbine king size blanket since I love the throw so much: very plush, soft, warm and cozy and beautiful rich color. I washed this blanket before putting it in my bed, and it left fuzzies and lint all over my duvet. Washed my duvet, and it's still all over it. I figured maybe it was just the material of my duvet? Put another duvet on, and SAME problem! It's going to be a HUGE pain to remove all the little lint balls by hand. =( I tried vaccumming it off even with my hand held vaccum, and the lint and fuzzies remained stead fast; only way to remove it is by hand.
I still will reccommend this blanket since it is so awesome, BUT I HIGHLY suggest you put a sheet between your duvet and this blanket, if you use another blanket, (I have a very high loft RL down comforter, with a heavy cable knit Claiborne duvet) I would put a sheet between this blanket and your regular blanket. (My 200g pinzon flannel sheets work well with this method.)

This blanket is very durable and warm. It is not super heavy or as thick as a Korean Mink acrylic blanket (or as warm), but I like it alot for most nights. What I really like is that if you use a top sheet, it will stick to the blanket. This sounds funny, but its really helpful in that the sheet stays in place with the blanket as you more around. Makes it easier to make the bed in the morning.
Its very warm, yet I don't sweat as I sometimes do with a Korean Mink blanket. I own two full-size blankets and have given two throws as presents. It has become my favorite all season blanket.
