Not bad. I was tempted to buy this from the Sky Mall catalog but smartly waited and did not pay twice what others are getting for it.
The pros:
Does dry noticeably faster than a comparable cheap-o rug-type bathmat. It does not dry instantly. In my apartment the bathroom exhaust fan is tied to the light and I like to turn the light off when I'm done in the bathroom. Even in these sub-par conditions it doesn't get disgusting and mildew-y.
Washes well (tumble dry low, dried on low and pulled halfway through cycle).
Does not attract cat hair and dust with quite the same inexplicable speed and efficiency as comparable cheap-o rug-type bathmat. Hair and dust is also easier to vacuum up in between washings.
Cons:
It's ugly. It only comes in beige.
It show dirt really quickly.
I'm willing to trade fashion for functionality. Overall I'm pleased with this and would happily purchase another one in a less beige color.

Reading the less than perfect reviews will be very helpful for you on purchasing this product. It does not "dry in minutes". I purchased hoping for a super absorbent rug and fast drying to avoid mildew and other possible odor causing science activity. Takes over a day to dry and that's hanging it over my shower door. I'm sad that I purchased two of them after reading the positive reviews here on this website. Should've only bought one and stuck with a $12 thin mat. Not recommending this product!

The product description says "microfiber dries in minutes" but it took over a day to dry just a few feet away from my baseboard heat, so don't believe everything you read!

I was under the impression that this mat would be extrememly cushiony - not so. It's very flat and thin. It doesn't dry as quick as I thought it would either. I purchased different microfiber mats from another vendor just to compare (they were much more expensive but no better). So, for the price these were fine except not what I expected.

This product is not bad, but not amazing either. The rug is very thin, and doesn't seem overly absorbant. However, it does seem absorbant enough for my purposes.
