Product Description This high quality metal step stool can be used throughout the home and industrial spaces to give you that extra height you need, in a safe manner. The safety step stool is constructed of ANSI type II rated powder-coated steel with an extra wide surface for standing and stepping on. The garage stool features non-skid vinyl feet to protect your floors from scratching and prevent the stool from moving. The non-skid soft, rubber step pad provides traction for added safety, and padding for comfort if standing for long periods of time. The safety features of this stepstool make it also ideal for children who need to reach the sink or other tall areas. Capable of supporting 225 pounds. Assembly level/degree of difficulty: No Assembly Required.

best step stool September 24, 2008 this is a great product. some people complained about things like the rubber feet. but i have hard wood floors and the rubber feet are perfect, they don't slide or leave any scratch marks. nice color and very wide step. overall good purchase.
It Does The Job November 10, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a good, lightweight but sturdy all-purpose stool. "Goldengate" is right about the hard plastic footing: I have hardwood floors, and this stool slides quite a bit, so buyer beware. That said, it's a great stool for the price.
A few points:
1) The weight capacity is stated at 225lbs. I actually used this stool to weighttrain (my weight was once beyond its limits). PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS AS AN ENDORSEMENT TO USE THIS PRODUCT FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN ITS INTENDED USE OR GUIDELINES,OR TO IGNORE THE WARNING LABEL OR TEST ITS LIMITS. I'm just illustrating how surprisingly sturdy this stool is.
2) The stool is somewhat small in depth and width. If you have large feet (men's 10 or larger), make sure your heels are planted firmly on the stool, or at least your feet are clearly centered on the stool. Don't stand on any of its edge with your toes. You don't want it suddenly tipping on you.
3) Wipe the top surface clean from time to time. Enough dirt build-up will diminish the top pad's effectiveness, thus making it slippery.
4) Make sure the surface you use it on is FLAT. If not, see point #2.
Good For the Money. October 31, 2007 Other more expensive products may work better and are more sturdy and will have more protection for the floor but this one should do the job without any problems. If you need more cushions, put some felts on the legs and you are good to go. The best for the money
Wonderful value for the price July 9, 2007 This is a nicely designed sturdy little step stool. I keep it in the garage to quickly retrieve stacked items, but it is easily transported to where ever you need a step up.
Not great May 19, 2007 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
Though there were no reviews, I thought to myself when I looked at this item "how bad can a step stool be?" given that there are no moving parts and few variables. This step stool is OK. I was disappointed in two things: the finish, which seems like a cheap looking sprayed on finish (instead of a nice stainless steel) and the "feet" on the bottom, which are made of a hard plastic instead of soft rubber. I would not want to use them on a wood floor as I think they would scratch...and they don't seem to have the same holding power (i.e. they're more slippery) than the rubber feet you find on most stools and small ladders.
Will I return it? No, it's here, I can use it, I'm not going to the trouble. But if I had read a review like this .... no, I wouldn't have ordered it.
