Amazon.com Review Ideal for lightweight comfort without excess heat, this Pacific Coast down blanket makes a great alternative to wool and acrylic blankets. Though this piece is not as thick or as expensive as full-scale comforters, Pacific Coast does not scrimp on quality or comfort here. The blanket has 525 fill power down for better breathing and longer use, and all the down has been through the rigorous Hyperclean process to remove allergens, dust, and dirt. The external cover is 100 percent cotton with a leak-proof weave to keep feathers inside and 230 thread count for softness. A 7-inch box design keeps the down from shifting, and a 2-inch satin border adds a pretty finishing touch. The fill weight is 18 ounces, a perfect level for warmth without heaviness. Available in a range of cozy colors, the blanket is machine washable for convenient maintenance. --Emily Bedard

loved the cost but not the feathers! September 28, 2007 Bought this for my husband and we both initially loved the lightness of it, the low cost and the softness. However, I am going to return it because the feathers "leak" out way too much even though it says it is leakproof.
Best Night's Sleep Ever July 26, 2007 This down comforter is awesome. It's very light weight but yet still enough cover. I live in Florida and it's perfect. The crisp cover and satin edging keep it cool to the touch even on the hottest evenings.
Disappointed June 17, 2007 This blanket is made with a very crisp, stiff fabric (no doubt used to prevent the down from leaking through). Maybe washing will help, but I thought it would be softer and plumper than it is, for the price paid.
blanket February 13, 2007 It is a lot thinner than I expected and feathers are flying around everytime you toss and turn, it irriates my eyes making them puffy in the morning.
Nice but not fantastic January 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am reasonably pleased with down blanket this but wouldn't say overwhelmed with enthusiasm. In reality, the colour ordered (pale blue) is more a pale blue-green and while it's a perfectly pleasant colour, doesn't go in the room I was planning to use it in.
Also, there are areas of stitching where the thread is over-sewn - presumably they ran out of thread half way through and rather than re-do the whole line of sewing, just over-stitched it.
The weight, though, is the best bit - light but fluffy and perfect for mid-seasons.
