It sits about 7 inches high when left alone August 16, 2008
I've never bought a pillow online, but the price was right so I tried this out. It puffs up so it is about 8" at it's highest point from the bed, and supports well. This is a bit high for my tastes, but I'm sure there are people who prefer this type of pillow.

A great big fat pillow that is soo soft and comfy. Great to prop you up while you read or watch tv in bed. A little too high for me for sleeping, but might not be for some. Pillow is well stuffed with down. Very nicely made, the quality is great.

This is a pretty good pillow for a great price. Although I would like it to be just a little more fluffy for a down pillow it is great. And for the price on Amazon I'd do this deal ten more times. would highly recommend.
