Heaven July 1, 2008 Super comfortable. Luxurious and a great price. Full/queen fit my F/Q duvet perfectly. You'll be thrilled if you buy it.
Best comforter I ever bought! June 5, 2008 I have owned many many comforters over the years and this is by far the best. The previous one I was using felt too heavy and was way too hot except for the coldest of winter nights. The current one I was using was way too thin and the down clumped in the middle and left the perimeters bare (it was an expensive one bought at a high-end well-known department store too); I returned it after 6 months since it had a 4 year warranty and exchanged it for another one which supposedly was stitched thru to prevent the down from shifting. Wrong advertising, returned to department store again! After reading the reviews on this one, worth a try since my options were so limited. Extremely happy: it is plush enough to give that "comfy" feeling but not so heavy as to weight you down. The covering material has the feel of silk; the pattern is gorgeous. Most importantly, NO shifting of down whatsoever, so it is advertised correctly. And also importantly, if it has to be machine washed, it can be. The price also beats sales at high-end department stores. If I had another bed to buy for, I'd buy another one.
A Good Bargain May 31, 2008 For a while I'd been searching for a decent quality down comforter that wouldn't cost more than my bed itself. Neatly folded in its packaging, the comforter appeared rather lean. However, after I fluffed it up a bit and left it to naturally distend for about an hour, it morphed into a gargantuan mound of softness! It contains no 'crunchy' feathers, and despite its-once aerated-loft, it is not at all heavy (albeit, a duvet does add weight); the warmth it offers is soft and never overbearing. For $120.00, I would definitely recommend this comforter, which makes going to bed an event worthy of anticipation.
Oh my.. May 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This, with the duvet cover I just got, is like heaven. Definitely makes you look forward to crawling into bed every nite/day! Light weight, but at the same time, keeps you very cozy! I highly suggest this down comforter.
The BEST down comforter after MUCH searching & I am picky May 14, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am sooo happy with this product. I had searched for literally months to find a real down comforter for my bed, but I did not want a heavy comforter or one that would provide a lot of warmth as I am normally very hot and I also live in a warm climate but enjoy the feeling of "safety" comforters provide at night but in no way did I want to wake up and have to shower b/c I was sweating all night long. This is perfect - I have the weight (which is a great weight...) that I wanted to feel safely under the covers and yet not hot at all even as we approach the summer months in a place that can approach 100+ temperatures! And, other than when I first recieved the comforter, I did not have feathers AT ALL coming from this comforter! I do though, have this in a duvet cover, which is for the protection of the comforter and should also help prevent any wayward feathers from floating around, but that should be a given. The best part about this all - is that this is a TRUE down comforter and is machine washable & OK to dry (with tennis balls to prevent the down from clumping)! You won't find anything better - believe me I tried!
