Great price, nice sheets! June 12, 2008 I got two sets, one twin size in ivory, and, one queen size in sage. They are well made, and fit the beds nice and tight, which makes it a bit tricky to get on, but no complaint, because they stay on better this way! Also, they have a really pretty sheen to them, almost like sateen sheets, but they aren't slick to me. These are comfortable and soft, nothing extraordinary, but a good buy at 39.99 each! The weight is nice too, being 400 thread count, so they will still be good on warm nights. I gave the queen set to my parents, and they love them. The color is more of a deeper green and to the brown, but, it is lovely and actually matches a flower patterned multi colored bed ruffle they have perfectly! My only complaint is they are already starting to show some piling, after only a few months. I wouldn't expect this from finer quality sheets, so, I am a bit disappointed in that. I wouldn't buy these again for myself, only because my favorite sheets are Pure Beech jersey; they feel a lot like an upper end cotton jersey, more like silk, and they are great for both warm and cool nights, so, it's hard to like other sheets much compared to these! Overall, a great buy at 39.99, thank you again Amazon!
Luxury sheets on a grad student budget June 7, 2008 These sheets are amazingly soft. I bought the white from linenspa so they were only 40 bucks and they are totally worth it. sometimes i think high thread count sheets are too stiff, but these are soft and look great. i just moved and have been lifting, packing, unloading, unpacking for days, it was like heaven to sleep in my new bed w/ these sheets. awesome.
Heirloom Quality January 9, 2008 You will treasure these sheets. I know I do! I've owned mine for a year and hate to take them off the bed to wash them or rotate because we only have one set! They are substansial, fairly heavy, and silky smooth! They truly make bed time a luxury. I hope they bring back the WINE color because I'd love to buy a second set.
Great Bargain December 17, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I ordered the 300-tc sheet set at a bargain price, but was sent the 400-tc sheets. What an amazing bargain! They are very soft, but I have not yet washed them or put them on the bed (they are for a new bed that is not yet here). I will update after that, just wanted to say I am impressed that I got more for my money than I thought I was getting. The packaging was difficult to open--the zipper broke--but I generally throw those away anyhow.
**I have now washed the sheets. They are really soft and have lost that "slimy" feel that I think sheets have before you wash them. They came out of the dryer very wrinkled, but I'm not sure how you dry two sets of king sheets without some wrinkling. I saw other dept. store sheets that claimed to resist wrinkling, but at this price, I'm thrilled even if they wrinkle. Our new bed actually isn't here yet, but when it is, I think we'll be very happy with this purchase.
**Having now slept on these for a few weeks, I'm not as thrilled as I originally thought. They are not as soft as I'd hoped, and the "trim" at the top seems to be unraveling a bit. I still think these are a good deal for the price, and I'm certainly able to sleep, but I do wish I'd gone for a higher thread count. I read somewhere that most people can't tell a difference between 300 and 500, but I don't believe that to be true. My next purchase will be at least 600 tc.
Great sheets, great price! September 5, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Wonderfully soft sheets, very pretty, although the Ivory is more a buttery yellow. I still could not be happier. I think the price is a great value. The ivory was almost 50 dollars less than all the other colors though. Don't think I would pay the asking price in a different color.
