My son loves these shoes. It's the only shoe he has worn for the past two years. They are good sturdy shoes. The only complaint is that the threading typically comes lose in the velcro piece and the velcro picks up lots of threads.

I don't have to say much when you are talking about Stride Rite shoes. There reputation stands for themselves. My son has a few pair of shoes, but only wants to wear these.
