Amazon.com Product Description Bring your style up to date with the Barcode watch for men by Tokyo Flash. This tech-savvy, "flashionable" watch indicates the time with white LEDs shining in binary code. Not only does it tell time, it has a light-up function that starts at 6 p.m. and goes on every minute until 1 a.m. The 32-millimeter black ion-plated stainless steel case and matching bezel house an AM-PM indicator, date-and-date calendar, and light-up function. For long-lasting comfort, the black band is constructed from ion-plated stainless steel and fastens with a fold-over clasp with double push-button safety. This digital-quartz-powered watch is a hip addition to any night on the town, and is backed by a 1-year manufacturer's warranty.
Product Description Tokyo Flash - Tokyo Time Evolution - Barcode IP Black/White - Tokyo Flash "Barcode SS" - Looking for an L.E.D. watch that is like no other? The L.E.D.s are bigger than the Pimp line of watches, making the colors really bright and super easy to see. Like the Pimp line of watches, this watch is equipped with a light up function that starts at 6 pm and goes on to 1 am every minute. The light up function is also activated when the time button is pressed during 1 am to 6 pm for 12 minutes after. The watch runs on 2 Lithium batteries that are easy to change. The strap is Solid Stainless that was custom designed just for the watch. Very well made and very solid. The watch measures 2.8 cm across by 5.7 cm long and 1.3 cm thick.

| Customer Reviews:
Cool look, but annoying at times. July 29, 2008 First off, the watch itself is very neat in design and set-up. Once one figures out how to read the LED display, it is a nice little watch, and certainly a talking point when people see it.
The watch seems to be of a fairly ruggedly built, and has some weight to it. The watch band is polished black metal, and it remains to be seen if the paint coating will withstand scratching or chipping off. It can display both time (12 or 24 hrs), date, and day of the week. Finding out that the watch also displayed the day of the week was a pleasant surprise.
With that said, there are a few shortcomings. First the display is always off until you press a button. While this is to conserve battery time, it makes glancing at your watch a more in-depth affair.
After you press a button to get the time, it spends about a second showing a random sequence of flashes before it displays the time. Cool the first few times, but after that it would be nice to be able to turn off this function.
Second, between 6pm and 1am, there is a random sequence which goes off every minute. Again, fine, except there is no way to disable this function (annoying if, for example, you are in a movie).
All in all, the watch is very cool from a fashion sense, but impractical for regular day to day usage.
tokyo flash barcode July 29, 2008 I personally think that this watch is perfect for students like myself that are in college. It has a unique design that helps complement the way you see thw time. If you like different things than a tokyo flash watch will definetly catch your attention and who ever else that is around.
i have 2 of this kind of watch June 3, 2008 i had the silver ver. of the watch wich it has diffrent colores, and i love it so much, the thing is once i saw this black one,,, i thought sooo much it will be so better and greater then mine, but when i got it, it was ok,,, not better then mine, i found that my silver one is good is more intresting even tho i thought it is childish cuz of the colors in it, so if this is ur first time to buy that type of watch and u like black then go for it, otherwise go with the silver with color lights!
sick watch May 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this watch is hot . only beef with it is that it only lights up when you press the button. would be cooler if it were always on, but maybe it would get annoying. i suggest you buy one.
