Selected by 0G AeroSpace Team July 6, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Nice watch, after having tested 2 versions of the PAG-50 from Project DADEALUS, we selected this latest one for having the chronometer and countdown features that the PAG-50 lacked, however i miss the altimeter alarm of the PAG50 here, as we perform parabolas for creating 0G conditions sometimes we get variations on the presurization of the cabin, thing that is reflected on the altitude graph
PROs: -Stopwatch and countdown features -altitude memory, we use it as mission log timer -you can see the altitude graph on the main time screen -4 different modes for altitude display screen -2 different watch bands, the normal one is very nice for day by day use and the other one is the best for use with flight gloves and suit -Nice colors
CONS: -Lacks altitude alarm -altitude memory lacks resolution, measures only every 15 minutes, insufficient. -alarm sound is too feeble -light time is too short, 2 seconds -countdown doesn't counts up when reaches 00.00 -not the best buttons while wearing flight gloves
It is not perfect but anyway we selected cause the strap and the stopwatch/countdown feature coupled with altimeter mission log.
better product, MUCH smaller, more features, and much less expensive June 14, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This watch is incredible. [...].
The watch is smaller than you think it is, and all the functions work great. I LOVE the black color.
The stores dont carry Casio, but will instead try and sell you Suunto, as if you really need to spend an extra $150 for a bigger watch, with less features, that needs its battery replaced every six months. I dont think so.
The Casio is a better product, MUCH smaller, more features, and much less expensive.
An Honest Opinion June 4, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this watch, but I was a little disappointed with the overall feel of the watch. It feels like a cheap walmart watch, but after wearing for a few weeks, I found out that its a little better than walmart grade. Worth more than 200.00 dollars? I would say no, priced a little too high, and there are better 250.00 dollar watches out there. Would have given 5 stars if it was less expensive.

This watch is all I was expecting and more. It feels very comfortable. It's not as big as thought it would be. It's very light and it seams I have nothing on my arm. The compass mesurements is very accurate and can really guide you out of an eventual trouble. The extra strap is also very comfortable and can be used even without a coat on. I surely recommend it for the technology enthusiast and outdoor person as a utile, fun and safety item.
Incredible watch, inadequate alarm May 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Every other watch I've had told me what time it isn't; this one tells me what time it is, whether in North America, Europe, or Japan and neighboring countries. I love it !!! I also love the altitude sensor, which lets me track pressurization cycles on airplanes and floor changes in elevators. What fun!
My only complaint is that the alarm annunciator is so feeble that I can't hear it when my wrist is by my side. I'd expected an alarm as loud as the Casio watch this replaces, which I can hear two rooms away. This one is so quiet that I have to hold it to my ear to hear it, which makes it useless.
