This watch is water resistant to 50 meters. Before using the watch in or near water, be sure that the crown is pushed in completely. If the watch is underwater or wet, do not use pushers, rotating bezels, or crowns. I was lucky enough to get this watch on sale at a department store closing, but I would have paid what Amazon is asking.
The watch is not as big and chunky as it looks in the picture. I've got biggish hands and wrists, so it comes across as nicely proportioned. The stainless case and accents help to offset the dark face and band. They help it from looking too casual.
My only caution is that the chronograph feature doesn't work as you may expect. The second hand for the watch is actually the bottom dial. The third hand is used for the chronograph function only and it doesn't sweep - the watch will record whole seconds and minutes up to 59 minutes 59 seconds.
Having said all that, I think most people timing things down to the fraction of a second may be more interested in purchasing a stopwatch. Minutes and seconds should work fine for just about everyone else.
It's my second Kenneth Cole watch and I find that their style works.
