Product Description Movado Classic Museum Collection, Sapphire crystal, Water resistance, Micron finish dot marker
Amazon.com Product Description This ultra-sleek Women's Museum dial watch is the essence of simplicity and style. It features a perfectly round black Museum dial with slender silver-tone hands and a single concave dot at the twelve o'clock position. This is the minimalist look made famous for Movado by American designer Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. Horwitt intended his design to be evocative of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon. The black dial is housed in an ultra-thin 25mm-wide stainless steel case and framed by a polished steel bezel with slightly elongated lugs. It presents on a sleek black calfskin strap that tapers slightly toward the ends and fastens with a stainless steel buckle closure. This watch features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and precise Swiss quartz movement. Water-resistant to 30 meters, it can withstand splashes and brief immersion in water; however, it is not sufficiently resistant for swimming. About Movado Movado, one of the most celebrated watch brands in the world, traces its origins to the small village of La Chaux-de-faunds, Switzerland where, in 1881, a young watchmaker named Achille Ditesheim hired six assistants and opened a small workshop. He called his company Movado, a word which means, roughly, "always in motion." The company grew and prospered, evolving from a small pocketwatch manufacturer into a leading innovator and designer of precision wristwatches. Throughout its history, Movado has maintained its place at the pinnacle of innovation and excellence in design, craftsmanship and technology. Movado watches are crafted by highly-skilled watchmakers to meet the exacting standards of Swiss time technology. They are accurate to within seconds a year. All Movado watches are sealed and protected against water, moisture and dust, and individually tested to meet strict international standards of quality. A long-time dedicated supporter of the arts, Movado has, itself, been the recipient of over 200 international awards. Movado watches can now be found in the permanent collections of over 20 museums worldwide.

Mocvado Classic Ladies Watch July 14, 2008 This Mobado watch is really classy. The classic design can be worn wth almost any style.
Really sexy watch! June 5, 2008 This watch is beautiful! It's simple, yet elegant. As far as Movado's go, this isn't the most expensive, but it's a Movado! I gave it as a gift and she absolutely loved it!
Simple and Elegant May 14, 2008 This is a beautiful watch -- very understated but elegant. It fits perfectly and I can wear it with anything, dressy or casual. I always admired Movado watches, but I refuse to pay more than $200 for any watch. So I was delighted to get this one for less than $200. Overall, I'm thrilled!
Movado April 13, 2008 Perfect, that's all I have to say. I love this watch and the price is right/cheap.
movado March 21, 2008 The product was as advertised and at a price that was less expensive than from other retailers
