Amazon.com Product Description Classically styled and updated with the latest Timex timekeeping technology, the silver-tone Timex T29271 stainless steel women's watch makes a great accent to both your everyday and business wear. It features a round silver watch case that frames a white dial background with black Arabic numerals and silver hands (with seconds hand). The stainless steel bracelet band features trident shaped links in silver tones, and it's joined by a fold-over push-button clasp. This watch also features a 10-year battery life, water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet), and a date display at 3 o'clock. With the Quick Date function, you can set the date on the watch without turning the crown for every 24-hour period. Just pull the stem halfway out, and turn until desired date is reached. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer.

Great Watch...But August 11, 2008 I really like this watch, it works great..functional, sturdy and looks good too...however, be aware that when it arrives to you, it is HUGE HUGE HUGE!!! I had to spend an extra $15.00 at a jewelers to have multiple links removed so it would fit my wrist properly, but if you look at the cost and add money to remove links you are still saving money in the end. The watch does come with directions to remove the links yourself, but the directions are not for the this model of the watch! Overall, I would recommend this watch to a friend..
Great looking watch June 26, 2008 I bought this watch to replace another Timex watch I had that stopped working. I agree with most of the other owners and say that the band is very large. I took mine to the local Wal-Mart and they removed several of the links for me at no charge. I'm sure if I would have went to a jewelry shop they would have charged me. According to the Timex website this is a $60 watch. I only paid $31 for it so I'm very happy with it. The only problem that I do have is it is hard to adjust the date. It took several times reading the instructions and messing with the watch to figure out how to adjust it. The instructions show that the side comes out way further than it actually does. I finally figured it out but it did take a while. I would definitely recommend this watch.
Great Watch/Great Price!!!! June 2, 2008 I had seen this watch at a couple of stores and even the Timex Web Site. But the price at these other places was just too much. When I found it on Amazon for less then half of what the other places were charging, I was so excited!! It has all the features I needed in a watch (date/light/water resistant). Plus the look of the watch works with everything. The band is pretty big when you get it, do not try to take the links out yourself. I took mine to Wal-Mart and the nice ladies in the Jewlery department took them right out for me. I think they did this because they had the exact same watch in the Timex case.
Very comfy watch May 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been looking for a good watch that is comfortable, easy to read, has a day calander and will light up in the dark. Yay, I finally found the perfect watch, with this one.
It's easy to read and even with small wrists like mine, it's just the right size. For being such a sturdy watch, it's suprisingly lightweight. I love the light on this as well, since it's not indiglo and lights up in the dark (which can get very distracting), but rather the light can be easily pushed on and lights up the whole face of the watch.
The only problem with this at all, was that the band was too big, which is common for a small wristed person. Since I buy watches frequently, for others as well as myself, I decided to invest in the link remover tool that is also sold here.
Professional Watch Band Link Pin Remover Tool with 3 Extra Pins - Adjust Watchbands Links Repair
This is a fantastic tool and worked perfectly in removing the excess pins. Just make sure that you push the pins out in the right direction, but this shows you how in the instructions that come with the watch (there's also arrows on the band itself).
Fits all May 3, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I can't believe how many people miss the point of having a long watchband. If you have a large wrist it's a devil of a time finding a leather-band watch long enough. The point of the long metal band is that women with large wrists can wear it, and women with smaller wrists can take out, or have a watch repair person take out, as many links as necessary, and even put some back in if you gain weight or your wrists swell (along with your feet, hands and everything else) in hot summer weather. Come on, people; be thankful for this advantage, and remember to save the links removed in case you need to put them back later.
