Not bad, but I'm still looking for ideal. December 28, 2008 Having used the Sennheiser PMX70 Sport Line Stereo Neckband Headphones for a few years, I was looking for something that would offer the same sound quality, but also work when wearing a hat or headband in the colder months. These looked to be the most logical choice.
Unfortunately, they seem to only fit one type of ear since they are more or less non-adjustable (they do have one adjustment, but it doesn't seem to be the right kind). Unless I'm standing still and actively pressing them in to my ear, they are not snug enough in my ear canal to offer the sound quality they're capable of (I assume they use the same driver and construction as they PMX70).
On the plus side, they are pretty comfortable and I'm certain they'll prove rugged. I've worn the PMX through rain, snow, basically every bit of weather you probably shouldn't wear them in. I've had to use some super glue to repair the headphone plug (the rubber pieces came apart), but they still sound the same as the day I bought them.
If these do work with your ears, good for you. You've got a product worth five stars.
Better wire quality, but less 'sticky' than the MX75 December 21, 2008 I had the MX75 and loved the fit, but found the wire failed (see my review of that item)after about a year. I see that many mentioned the same issue with their reviews of this item, but I haven't run into that yet. Having ordered this model to give Sennheiser a second chance, I think this model has better wire quality than the MX75, but agree with others that the buds do not stay seated in your ear all that well. It does stay *on* your ear, so I can run with these, but I have to re-arrange the buds at least 2X on a 5k run. If you're really irritated with having to re-arrange earbuds while working out/running, these probably aren't the best bet for you. If you're tolerant, these will work!
good exercise earphones December 13, 2008 These earphones work great. I use them at the gym, they fit fine in my ear, and the sound is quite good. They don't fall out of my ears like my previous earphones, which is a big plus. I'd recommend them.
Outstanding fit December 2, 2008 I have tried a number of different headsets for running. My common complaint with other brands is that they dislodge from the ear during heavy exercise. These are the first I have owned that stay in place. Excellent sound clarity also.
Good sound, great afterservice but has failed twice November 5, 2008 Sennheiser product quality is well known and respected. Therefore, I cannot understand why within eight months of use (workouts on bicycle, Ellipticals, Treadmills)I continue to have failure problems. First one side goes out and then the other. I think there is a problem with the copper wire connections. Has anyone else had this problem? I do have to say that the Service Center does quickly replace the product if under the two year warranty
