 Perfectly Lovely, Soft & Large January 6, 2009
I ordered two sets of white towels for the holidays. I was surprised to find out how large the bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth were. The towels ended up soft and fluffy after a good laundering. The family loves them, and has asked where to get more.

This towel set can only be described as plush. The soft cotton in these towels feels wonderful on your body as it quickly absorbs moisture. Though they are thick and luxurious, they dry quickly. Want to buy more, but the cream color was out of stock the last time I looked.
 Soft but sheds like crazy! January 5, 2009
The towels are really soft and absorbent but they shed like crazy. I've only washed them once so I'll just have to see how they hold up after a few more washes.
poor quality of towels January 4, 2009
After only the first washing, the binding/seam on one side of 2 towels
is already coming apart -- thread is coming out and seam is shredded.
also, inside decorative hem is shredded in a couple of spots on one of the towels. Purchased Pike St 100% Egyptian cotton towel set

Really good towels, especially for the price December 29, 2008
I bought two sets of these towels, one in Harvest and one in Cocoa. I give the Cocoa 5 stars, but the Harvest only 4.
The color on the Harvest is not exactly what was pictured - it's a much deeper golden shade. I actually like it a lot better than what was pictured, but it's something to be aware of. More importantly... on the first wash, the stitching on one of the hand towels came loose on one side, leaving me with a slightly unravelling hand towel. I'd return it, but I'm a guy - I don't really use the hand towels so much anyway (I bought the set primarily for the bath towels and wash cloths) and even if I did, I'd probably just fold them so the edges didn't show. Definitely not worth returning, and I'm still very happy with them. But it does mean the Harvest set doesn't quite merit the full 5 stars.
The Cocoa towels I received didn't exhibit either of these issues. Color matched what was pictured perfectly, and they all survived the first wash no problem. In fact, all of them (both colors) have since been washed several times with no further issues. They all feel soft and are plenty absorbent. I haven't had any issues with color fading in the wash, and a couple of them have even done "emergency clean-up duty" from accidents in the kitchen. No staining, did their job, no problems. And they came at a pretty unbeatable price - I can't get this many towels this nice at any of the local "super stores" for this price.
